our history

Sixty years ago when I first decided to create the Drum & Bugle Corps, I  would have never imagined the magnitude of empowerment we would come to have over the community. We flourished from the Henry Horner Boys & Girls Club to a facilty in Honor of myself. With dedicated staff, volunteers, the community and its leaders we are able to service more than 120 school age children per day.

Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!

Mr. James "Major" Adams
